Abstract:
A method is developed for the determination of microamounts of U in aqueous solution by U-salicylfluorone-zeph-OP system. The absorption peak of the quarternary complex appears at 555 nm(ε=1.75 × 105).The color of the complex develops quickly stable for more than 5 hours. The method is suitable for determining U heigher than O.OOOx % in geological samples.
