    设计了一套热处理和辐照处理方法对福建明溪锆石进行处理,使之呈浅蓝色,并采用紫外一近红外吸收分光光度计对锆石的颜色及其变化进行了分析,探讨了锆石的呈色机理。分析表明,明溪锆石的褐色是由色心引起的。漂亮的浅蓝色是由Fe^2 和Fe^3 之间的电荷转移产生的。

    Abstract:

    The zircons from Mingxi of Fujian Province assumes colorless, grayish brown and light blue after heat treatment. A process of heating and irradiation was designed to tackle them. The colors and their variations were studied by UV-NIR spectrometer. The formation mechanism of the zircon colors were discussed on the basis of experiments. It is shown that the brown color of the zircon is caused by color-center, and that the light blue color is attributed to Fe~(2+)Fe~(3+) intervalence charge transfer, which contributes to the beauty enhancement of the zircons.
